Tuesday A day to relax and explore Waterford, famous the world over for its hand-crafted crystal – hence the Crystal County. To help you get your bearings we've included Jack's Historic Walking Tour of Waterford. This Award winning walking tour is one hour in duration, and will take you through the regional capital and Ireland's oldest city, including two cathedrals, four national monuments, and a gallery of rogues and rascals, delivered in a witty, entertaining style, by a master storyteller. Jack Burtchaell wears his scholarship lightly and yet in retrospect many visitors appreciate that they have just spent an hour with someone very special in a city which has a history to match his telling of it.
Wednesday Our local guide joins us and begins with a visit to Ireland's premier seaside resort of Tramore with it's miles of flat sandy beaches, before driving along the magnificent Copper Coast - a protected national Geopark with wide ocean views, curious rock formations and home to traditional fishing villages.
Thursday We travel north to Kilkenny, Ireland's foremost medieval city with cobbled streets and traditional 'slip' alleyways filled with shops and cafes, and many landmarks that can be discovered at ease abourd the local tourist train.
Friday After an early breakfast we drive to Rosslare harbour to board the early morning ferry to Pembroke and complete the journey home to Wiltshire where your taxi will be waiting to return you to your home.
