Join us as we immerse ourselves in the festive spirit by taking a trip to visit two traditional German Christmas markets, Rüdesheim and Koblenz. Beginning in around the 17th Century as a way for local families to sell food, toys, wood carvings and other items. Christmas Markets have now grown to be a popular tourist attraction in the UK and in Europe where they originated. You will have plenty of time to browse the wide selection of festive goods and gifts, while at the same time enjoying the aromas of hot chestnuts, grilled sausage and fresh gingerbread biscuits. We stay in the always popular Hotel Ebetor in Boppard, this charming German town will also be decorated for the festive period.

Thursday – We collect you from your home to join your tour coach as we make our way for our Channel Crossing. We then continue via the auto-routes of France, Belgium and Germany to arrive at our hotel in Boppard early evening for our next 3-night stay.

Friday – This morning we have a morning at leisure in Boppard before in the afternoon we take a drive down to Koblenz, where the Old Town will have been transformed into a festive bliss with Christmas cottages lining the squares adorned with gingerbread heart and glistening lights.

Saturday – After breakfast enjoy a morning at leisure in Boppard before we take a scenic drive along the Rhine Valley passing the world-famous Loreley Rock to Rüdesheim and it’s popular Christmas Market of Nations. There are over 120 stalls at the market, representing the Christmas traditions from 12 nations.

Sunday – We depart after breakfast and retrace our steps back to Calais and to our Channel Crossing back to England, retuning to your taxis mid evening.
