Join us for this Easter weekend away to West Sussex and enjoy the thrill of a ride on one of the country’s best-known preserved railway lines as well as a visit to a beautiful heritage garden.
Friday This morning we collect you from your local pick up point and travel to Chichester, making suitable comfort stops en-route.
Saturday and Sunday we have included the following excursions.
Borde Hill Gardens - Today we have an included visit to nearby Borde Hill Heritage Gardens, renowned for its rare shrubs and champion trees created from specimens accumulated by the great Victorian plant collectors and tended by four generations of the Stephenson Clarke family. We also make a visit to nearby Arundel for some leisure time.
Bluebell Railway – Today we head for Sheffield Park Station, home to the famous Bluebell Railway. Here we will enjoy a round trip on the line through pleasant scenery. We then continue to the south coast of Brighton with time to explore at leisure.
Monday – After a final breakfast at the hotel we will depart and make our way back to Wiltshire with suitable stops en-route.
