Set in the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site nestled between two striking red cliffs, the elegant town of Sidmouth is one of Devon’s oldest resorts. Its Georgian and Regency architecture has been beautifully preserved and the town enjoys an unspoilt and quiet atmosphere. This break combines the lovely location and relaxation with a few chances to squeeze in any last-minute Christmas shopping, with included visits to Exeter and Plymouth.


Monday – We collect you from your home travelling towards Sidmouth, making a suitable lunch stop en-route.  We arrive with time to settle in before dinner.

Tuesday to Thursday are at leisure in Sidmouth or join us for our included excursions

Exmouth and Exeter - After a leisurely breakfast we have included a trip to Exmouth, affectionately known as one the most picturesque resorts in Devon boasting two miles of sandy beaches.  Following some time at leisure here we will continue to Exeter. You will have free time to explore, why not visit the Christmas Markets for some last-minute Christmas or souvenir shopping?

Plymouth – This morning we take a scenic drive to Plymouth, where you will have time to enjoy the City in all it’s festive glory. We will return to Sidmouth late afternoon, with time to relax before dinner.

Friday – After breakfast we bid farewell to Sidmouth and Devon as we make our way back to Wiltshire making suitable comfort stops en-route.


The Bedford Hotel, Sidmouth

Located at the heart of the Sidmouth seafront, the Bedford Hotel is in the perfect location with lovely sea views and conveniently close to the town. The family run hotel is home to 40 bedrooms that are decorated in a modern way but still allow them to keep their traditional charm. All rooms are furnished with a TV, hair dryer, telephone and a hospitality tray. All rooms are en suites but with showers only.
