Known as the ‘Jewel in the Irish Sea’, the Isle of Man may be small but it has a great deal to offer, with over 200 square miles of beautiful countryside, an impressive coastline of beaches and coves, as well as a huge choice of attractions.

YOUR HOLIDAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• We will collect you from your home and travel to Heysham for our afternoon sailing to the Isle of Man. On arrival, we continue to our hotel in Ramsey.

• We take a trip on the Manx Electric Railway to Laxey, home of the famous ‘Lady Isabella’ water wheel and the Laxey Woollen Mill. At Laxey, we join the Snaefell Mountain Railway for a glorious scenic ride to the summit. Later we return to Ramsey where you will have the rest of the afternoon free to explore at leisure. • We travel south to Douglas following part of the TT Races course through Sulby and Kirk Michael. The day will then be free for you to explore the island’s largest town. You might wish to take a ride on one of the famous horse-drawn trams, or browse through the shops or simply relax and watch the world go by.

• We’ll visit the Isle of Man Steam Railway for a ride through the countryside to Port Erin with it’s beautiful bay overlooked by the majestic Bradda Head. Later, we will continue to Castletown, the island’s former capital. We end the day with a visit to Peel, on the west coast, before returning to our hotel. • On our final day, after breakfast, we return to the harbour for the return crossing to Heysham and then onwards in the coach, back to Wiltshire with appropriate stops along the way.
