COACH HOLIDAY TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is a condition of travel that all passengers have travel insurance, whether you are travelling to Europe, or within the UK. You are free to choose your own insurance company, however we have teamed up with travel insurance specialists P.J. Hayman & Company via ‘Coach Plus’. Their key features are that they can provide:

• Cover for people of all ages
• Protection for loss of deposit, cancellation and curtailment (including COVID-19*)
• Medical repatriation and emergency expenses (including COVID-19* related illness)
• The insured or a travelling companion being held in quarantine after exposure to a contagious disease such as COVID-19**
• 24-hour emergency assistance – UK helpline.

*This means that if a person on the policy is taken ill or tests positive for COVID-19, they will be able to claim for recoverable costs.

** This does not include any quarantine that applies generally or broadly to some or all of a population, vessel or geographical area, or that applies based on where you are travelling to, from or through.

You are also advised that when travelling outside of the UK you obtain an EHIC, European Health Insurance Card which will entitle you to reciprocal health care in the EU. You are strongly advised to carry a valid NHS COVID Travel Pass with you when travelling to European destinations with us. You can get a digital NHS COVID Pass online or by using the NHS App.

If you require non-digital proof of your booster vaccination for international travel, you can order an NHS COVID Pass letter via the NHS 119 service or via NHS.UK.
