• Christmas Eve: we visit historic Shrewsbury, set within a loop of the meandering River Severn and boasting over 600 listed buildings. Black and white timber buildings and picturesque cobbled alleyways house a selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. We will have lunch at the excellent Prince Rupert Hotel.

  For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass, details of church services will be available at our hotel.

• Christmas Day: We spend a leisurely day at the hotel before enjoying our traditional Christmas Lunch. Listen to the King’s Speech, followed by tea or coffee and Christmas Cake. Dinner will be followed by entertainment.

• Boxing Day: This morning we will have a short drive to scenic Ironbridge, travelling to the gorge and taking a break in Ironbridge village. After a light lunch back at our hotel, we will travel to Telford and take our seats for the Christmas pantomime and an afternoon of fun and laughter. Tonight we will have dinner followed by a final evening’s entertainment.
